I have worked as an independent contractor on and off since 2012, back then my work was primarily in the human resources and recruiting area. In December 2020, I found myself unemployed due to Covid-19, so I have decided to embrace the independent contractor life again, however, this time I will offer services in all the areas I have experience and enjoy. During a recent consultation with a fellow small business professional, Katherine (Kat) Ramirez from adBidtise, she referred to a new buzz word “Fractional” in the services market. According to Wikipedia a “Fractional Executives are professionals who have decided to offer their advice and skills to organizations on a for-hire basis”, that is exactly what I intend to do.
Growing Up
I grew up with a strong female role model, my mom, Sharon. She is the CEO/Founder of Gamache Tax Service, LLC. When I was in high school, my plan was to follow in her footstep to become a strong independent businesswoman, so I took all those office admin classes like keyboarding and shorthand. However, my creative side also liked to work with my dad, Jim, on remodeling and building projects. When my Dad retired from his carpentry business, he went to work for my mom doing taxes until he passed. I miss our conversations and his encouragement. The entrepreneurial spirit lives on in myself, my siblings and my daughter as well.
Married with children
My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 30 years (funny, most bets had us not making it past 6 months). Mike and I were married twice, the first time at the courthouse. The Army decided they wanted him back for Operation Desert Storm, then a year later we had a big “fancy” wedding with the church, hall, and celebration.

We enjoy spending time together at festivals (Summerfest) and the Wisconsin State fair, as well as just hanging out around the fire at home or camping.
We have two (2) fantastic kids, our daughter, Danielle, who runs a commercial/residential cleaning business with her best friend, and our son, Chris, who will graduate high school in 2021 and has plans to go on to college for engineering. As a family, we like to get together to play games and go on camping/ATV trips.

I have been blessed to be surrounded by supportive people who have shared their knowledge and continually encourage me to follow my dreams.
I look forward to an opportunity to work with you and help you build on your dream.
Sincerely,
